FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nucleic acid construct for localising a polypeptide in plastid-plastid-containing cells. Also disclosed are a transgenic plant material containing said structure, as well as a method for production thereof. Invention also relates to a method of producing a transgenic plant, which expresses polypeptide of interest in chloroplasts, using said structure.
EFFECT: invention enables effective expression of a polypeptide of interest in chloroplasts.
