FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: graphite particles are placed in a vacuum between electrodes, with potential difference being set sufficient for electrodynamic fluidization of the particles and obtaining energy higher than the work required to split them along the cleavage planes into graphene layers during brittle fracture during impacts against the electrodes. Graphite with a density of 2.3∙103 kg/m3, with particles less than 1 mm is used.
EFFECT: increased productivity of high purity graphene obtaining.
