In addition, the rate of change in the average temperature determines the initial moment of ignition, and at a locally high temperature, a confirmation of the occurrence of a fire is obtained. A fire detection or overheating device comprising a fire detection unit in which the temperature and the rate of change thereof are calculated from the readings of the linear thermal sensors that are connected to the input of this unit, monitoring the health of the linear thermal sensors, forming and transferring information to the fire protection system of the monitoring object Fire or overheating, which are determined by the average temperature in the control zone, as well as the detected faults. In the fire detection unit, in addition to the rate of change in the mean temperature, the initial ignition time is determined, and a confirmation of the occurrence of a fire is formed at a locally high temperature.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the fire detection device or overheating.
