FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: prosthesis is designed to be worn on the user's eye and contains: a convex surface; a concave surface and an aperture expansion area having a portion that is different from the rest of the prosthesis. At that, the aperture expansion area has a minimum vertical dimension greater than or equal to 10.5 mm. The aperture expansion area comprises an incremental thickness area with a maximum additional thickness increment located at least 5.25 mm from the prosthesis geometric center. The aperture expansion area is configured to expand the natural eye gap of the user's eyes.
EFFECT: application of this invention will allow to enlarge the eye or to change the wearer's eye appearance.
