FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. To create a rotational force due to friction, as the upper and/or lower eyelids pass through one or more regions during blinking, a contact lens is used that includes one or more zones with a modified surface on the front surface of the lens. Moreover, zones with a modified surface have a greater coefficient of friction than those with an unmodified surface, which provides a rotational force equivalent to that of a lens with a gradient of thickness.
EFFECT: contact lens provides orientation preservation, stability of characteristics and a balance between the level of comfort and the movement of the lens on the surface of the eye.
