FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: silicone product contains light-transmitting polymeric material from the group of polysiloxanes, luminescent material and filler particles. The luminescent material contains particles with nanometer range size at least in one dimension in, quantum dots, quantum rods or quantum tetrapodes. The luminescent material is adapted to absorb the light of the first spectral range and convert a portion of the absorbed light into the light of the second spectral range. The filler particles are light-transmitting inert material, such as alumina, titania, silica or clay. The filler particles are miscible with the particles of the luminescent material and provided in said polymeric material. The luminescent material particles are distributed along the surface of the filler particles.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of light conversion and lighting device efficiency.
