FIELD: controlled devices for processing an optical beam.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlled devices for processing an optical beam. The light-transmitting optical component contains a structure (32) of an electroactive material layer containing an optically active layer that performs an optical function; an electrode unit (33) for controlling the deformation of the structure of the electroactive material layer in order to change the light transmission properties of the component; and the drive unit (34) for controlling the excitation signals applied to the electrode unit. The drive unit (34) is designed to cause different relative thickness changes in different regions of the structure (32) of the electroactive material layer to ensure an uneven change in the optical function between these different regions. The structure of the electroactive material layer contains a set of layers (60) of the electroactive material separated by intermediate layers (61), with the layers of the electroactive material having the same thickness, and the intermediate layers having an unequal thickness, so that the structure (32) of the electroactive material layer has an unequal thickness in the non-activated state.
EFFECT: invention provides an uneven change in the optical function between different areas.
