FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: beverage contains water, a flavouring, erythritol, D-psicose, an acidulant and a sweetening component containing a sweetening amount of rebaudioside M. Wherein rebaudioside M constitutes at least 50 wt % of the sweetening component and is present at a concentration of 200 parts per million (ppm) to 600 ppm. A syrup for producing this beverage is also proposed. To produce the beverage, the syrup should be diluted in the system of 1 plus 5 parts added.
EFFECT: invention allows to produce a beverage with a pleasant sweetness without a bitter aftertaste.
