RADAR ABSORBING COATING Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC H01Q17/00

Abstract RU 2632985 C2

FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: radar absorbing coating contains the base with the applied film from hydrogenized carbon with nanoclusters of metal atoms, protected by the thin fiber glass layer from the external effects. The base is made in the form of cylindrical elements from dielectric fabric, protected from external effects from below by means of the metal foil, and from above by means of the thin fiber glass layer, the cylindrical elements are located in the same plane between the layers of the fiber glass and the metal foil, parallel to each other at the distance of not less than one diameter of the above mentioned elements.

EFFECT: increase of the stealthiness and reduction of the likelihood to detect objects of sea, land, aviation and space technology by radars, provision of the electromagnetic compatibility of radioelectronic and radio engineering devices and facilities, the proposed radar absorbing coating is the effective microwave absorber over the wide range of frequencies, having the extended operating range and the lower weight in comparison with the analog.
