FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: claimed method for levomycetin determination in animal origin foddder using high performance liquid chromatography involves sampling a 200 to 500 mg fodder sample, homogenisation, extraction by 95% ethanol, extract filtration, dehydration with sodium sulfate, evaporation, dry residue dissolution in ethyl acetate, dry residue intriduction to the liquid chromatograph with a spectrophotometric UVV 104M detector and a Diafer-110C-16 column (150×4) mm, with a sorbent particle size of 5 mcm, using the following as an eluent: acetonitrile-water-diethylamine mixture in a ratio of 30:70:0.1, analysis results processing.

EFFECT: increased method sensitivity and selectivity, shortened analysis duration.
