FIELD: measurement technology; biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of the biologically active substances quantitative determination in plant raw material and food products derived therefrom, namely to a method of the vitamin K1 content determining in the products of vegetable origin, and can be used in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries, medicine, including food hygiene. Method of the vitamin K1 content determining in products of vegetable origin includes the vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) quantitative extraction from the plant products with a propanol-2 and hexane mixture, separation of the obtained extract, elimination of the matrix components effect by filtering of the extract through a hydrophobic membrane, evaporation of the extract in a stream of nitrogen, the sample re-dissolution in the eluent and analysis by high-performance liquid chromatography with chromatography data mathematical processing, which allows to establish the absolute value of the phylloquinone concentration in 100 g of a plant origin product.
EFFECT: method allows to determine the vitamin K1 concentration both without concentration process, and with 60-fold concentration with the use of a minimum amount of reagents and the minimum configuration of the analytical system, as well as in any of the plant origin products.
