The manufacturing method includes the step of bending, the step of bending back the edges, and the step of creating the convex portion. The outer peripheral edge part of the plate is bent back by means of the step of bending back the edges, and this edge part of the plate includes the area extending from the lever connecting the part for connecting to the wheel and the part for connecting to the suspension to the bent part serving as a part for connecting to the wheel or the part for connecting to the suspension.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability and strength of the connecting part of the suspension element.
