SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the method for manufacturing a car lever arm. Car lever arm has a hollow profile with an open cross-section from one end to the other end in the first direction. Lever arm is manufactured by machining the blank, which is a flat plate extending in the first plane that is formed by the first direction and the second direction, which is perpendicular to the first direction. Method comprises step-wise stamping, during which the two side surfaces of the blank in the second plane, which is formed by the first direction and the third direction, which is perpendicular to the first plane, face each other through a clearance. Method comprises the straightening step, during which a protruding member that is disposed on the straightening die passing in the first direction is placed in the mentioned clearance between the mentioned two side surfaces facing each other, and the mentioned two surfaces are brought into contact with the side surfaces of the mentioned projecting element in a perpendicular direction so that the blank is crimped from the outer periphery to the inner periphery.
EFFECT: increased torsional stiffness and increased tensile strength without increasing the thickness of the material are achieved.
