FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method is characterized by grinding the samples of the plant material, transferring 1 g (accurate sample) of the crushed raw material into a flask with a thin section, adding an extractant, attaching the flask to a reflux condenser, extracting in a boiling water bath for 1-2 hours in three phases using a solvent in the volume of 100 ml in the ratio of 50:25:25, respectively, at the first, the second and the third phase contact, and as a solvent, 70% ethyl alcohol is used for extraction, cooling, extraction filtration after each extraction phase, increase extract to the necessary volume by the solvent, by stirring, adding to the extraction of an alcoholic solution of aluminium chloride, determining the optical density of the solutions discretely in the wavelength range of 402-408 nm relative to the alcohol solution of aluminium chloride in comparison with a standard solution of ruthin followed by calculation of the ruthin percentage.
