FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to chemical-pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for quantitative determination of flavonoids in black poplar leaves. Method for quantitative determination of flavonoids in black poplar leaves, consisting in preliminary production of water-and-alcohol extraction from vegetable raw material by extraction of 1 g of a precise weighed portion of ground raw material ground to particle size of 1 mm with 70 % ethyl alcohol in terms of a substance of flavonoid nature, by differential spectrophotometry in relation "raw material-extractant" – 1:30, wherein flavonoids are determined at wavelength of 414 nm in terms of routine and absolutely dry material is calculated by formula
where x is content of sum of flavonoids in terms of rutin, %; D is the optical density of the test solution; Do is the optical density of the solution of the State standard routine sample; m is weight of raw material, g; mo is mass of State standard sample of rutin, g; W is weight loss during drying, %; in case of absence of standard routine sample, it is reasonable to use theoretical value of its specific absorption coefficient equal to 240,
where x is content of flavonoids sum in recalculation for routine, %; D is the optical density of the test solution; m is weight of raw material, g; 240 is specific absorption coefficient (E1%1cm) of the state standard routine at 414 nm; W is weight loss during drying, %.
EFFECT: method for quantitative determination of flavonoids in black poplar leaves is effective.
