FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: small-sized nuclear power plant containing a nuclear reactor with supply and discharge pipelines, with regulatory and nuclear safety regulatory bodies, and a power converter located in a submerged container is proposed. The nuclear reactor is located autonomously in a sealed vial placed in the bottom of the container vertically located in the ground, which is covered by a protective plug on top, which consists of alternating layers of granular neutron-absorbing material, for example, titanium hydride, and steel discs, and the container itself is suspended on a power structure, resting on a foundation made at a distance from the container shaft, around which a profiled protective belt of concrete is formed, and the energy converter is placed separately from the reactor in a sealed container and is connected with piping.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the processability of the reactor utilisation process after the end of its operation.
