SUBSTANCE: guiding device for the nonwoven fabric to be transported, includes the feeder, the guiding and/or the processing shaft or the shaft unit and the stabilizing plate. When carrying out the method of guiding the transported nonwoven fabric from the synthetic fibers, the fabric is brought into contact with the shaft or the shafts unit. The stabilizing plate is located before or behind the shaft. The transported nonwoven fabric is guided along the stabilizing plate.
EFFECT: air flow occurring during the transportation of the fabric is compensated, the fabric feeding is stabilized.
