FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to neurosurgery and vertebrology, and can be used in the surgical treatment of traumatic and tumorous diseases of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. The inventive method consists in carrying out a magnetic resonance tomography and a spiral computer tomography (SCT), in planning the execution of an interbody spondylofesis, in producing an individual body replacement implant from a Recost material on the basis of the results obtained by the SCT. During the surgical procedure, lateral access to the body of the vertebrae is carried out, and the damaged body of the vertebrae and the interspinal discs adjacent thereto are removed. A body replacement implant is then mounted from the Recost material, the size of which takes into account the height of the removed adjacent disks. The body replacement implant is fixed by a plate.
EFFECT: method enables increasing reliability of interbody stabilisation of the motor vertebrate segment, reducing duration and trauma of the operation and also ensuring high biological compatibility of the operating vertebrae by forming a complete bone block and using an implant, made of Recost material.
