FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: multifunctional apparatus for vertebral spinal repair in case of traumatic injuries is presented in the form of a vertebra prosthesis including a hollow body with a basal and ventral wall. Basal wall is equipped with heat exchanger in form of "coil" for circulation of cooling liquid formed by system of hollow radiator openings, which through channels is connected to inlet and outlet holes made in housing and serving for connection of supply and discharge branch pipes respectively. Ventral wall is configured to adjust its height position. In the basal wall, through holes are additionally provided, providing the possibility of visual control of the level of immersion of the body before contact of the basal wall with a solid shell of the spinal cord. Body is additionally provided with a canal for administering medicinal agents into the injured zone or feeding the gas component when performing oxygenation. Inside the body there are electrodes for electrostimulation, through the supply wire connected to the generator of electric pulses and a feedback sensor connected to the external interface and serving for determination of oxygen content in cells of biological tissue.
EFFECT: invention enables expansion of the device operating capabilities.
