FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in solving problems of processing noise emission signal of an object in hydroacoustic systems and determining the motion parameters of the detected object. Using a consistent correlation processing of spectra, it is possible to automatically estimate the stationarity degree of the input process and to make a decision on performing a speed maneuver or a motion direction maneuver by the noise emission source.
EFFECT: improved determination accuracy.
