FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for magnetic flaw detection of a track contains electromagnetic coils mounted on the axes of the wheel pairs and exciting a constant magnetic flux on the sections of the rail located between the contact spots of wheel pairs with the rail and the magnetic field anomaly detectors installed on these sections of rails, on the axes of wheel sets of neighboring cars.
EFFECT: increasing the detection ability of the magnetodynamic flaw detector at high speeds.
