FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: includes: (a) provision of an initial sample of biological fluid from the subject; (b) obtaining of a dynamic light scattering spectrum (DLS) for this sample, that contains peaks corresponding to particles of different sizes that are present in the sample; (c) sample contacting with at least one substance that specifically binds to the immunoglobulins of one or more isotypes contained in the sample; (d) removal of the complexes containing the said substance to obtain a treated sample; (e) obtaining of a DLS spectrum of the treated sample obtained in step (d), which contains peaks corresponding to particles of different sizes that are present in the said treated sample; (e) comparison of the DLS spectrum obtained in step (b) with the spectrum obtained in step (e), based on the differences in the spectrum of the treated sample and the spectrum obtained for the initial sample, the characteristic of isotypic composition of the immune complexes present in the said biological fluid sample is determined. Diagnosis of a disease or condition in a subject based on the determination of the characteristic of the immune complexes isotypic composition in a biological fluid sample obtained from a subject and a kit for this diagnosis are also proposed.

EFFECT: increased diagnostic and predictive informativeness of detection of antigens significant for medical purposes in biological fluids.
