SUBSTANCE: smoking product comprises a tobacco rod, a filter attached to the tobacco rod and comprising a concentric sorption segment having a central core section comprising a sorption material, and an outer peripheral layer surrounding the central core section. The central core section has a lower puff resistance than the peripheral layer. At least 80% of the sorbent in the smoking product is located in the central core section; the ventilation area located adjacent to the front end of the concentric sorption segment. The ventilation area is located about 3 mm in the direction forward from the front end of the concentric sorption segment.
EFFECT: ensuring the sorption material minimization while minimizing the effect on taste.
