SUBSTANCE: smoking article (10) comprises: tobacco rod (12); and filter (14) connected to tobacco rod and comprising one or more segments (16) of filter, surrounded by wrapping (18) of filter comprising sorbent (20). Filter has ventilation zone (24) provided in flow direction before sorbent (20). Level of components in gas phase in main smoke flow delivered during smoking of smoking article (10) at open ventilation zone (24), is up to 40 % in gas phase of main smoke flow delivered during smoking of smoking article (10) in locked ventilation zone (24).
EFFECT: smoking article is disclosed.
