FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: gear wheel comprises a body and a toothed rim with teeth made of ferromagnetic material. A pair of end straps made of diamagnetic material adjacent to the gear rim is secured on teeth ends and sections of the body ends. The outer perimeter of the straps is identical to the profile of the gear rim by the profile and size; the inner perimeter of the straps has the form of a circle. The straps in the plan are combined with the teeth of the gear rim.

EFFECT: improved quality of gear wheel lubrication.
