FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: liquid crystal display includes a display panel and a touch panel, each of which is electrically connected to the control chip. The display panel includes a lower substrate, an upper substrate disposed in parallel with the lower substrate, a liquid crystal layer and n wires enclosed in the cavity formed by the upper substrate and the lower substrate, a plurality of protruding inserts disposed within the cavity. Herewith a plurality of protruding inserts is formed on the lower surface of the upper substrate and the upper surface of the lower substrate. Each of the wires within the cavity has the first conductive contact and the second conductive contact in its central portion as well as a commutation rupture adapted to connect the first conductive contact and the second conductive contact and opposite one of the inserts. The first conductive contact and the second conductive contact are electrically disconnected, when there is no pressure on the corresponding insert. The first conductive contact and the second conductive contact are electrically connected, when pressed against the corresponding insert.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of the liquid crystal display.
