FIELD: mining engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method involves inserting a string of pipes into the wellbore. Said pipe string comprises a component and a tubular element connected to the pipe string, performing operation with the pipe string by applying a force to the component in the wellbore, measuring the deformation, affecting the pipe string with at least one deformation sensor included in the tubular element and transmitting data to the surface location, relating to deformation using a data transfer device, and thus determining the force applied to the component. The data transmission device is arranged in the wall of the tubular element in such a way that the channel through the tubular element remains unrestricted, the operation of the device for generating pressure pulses in the first data transfer mode until a threshold force value is lower than the required applied force to be applied to the component, the operation of the device for creating pressure pulses in the second data transfer mode when the force threshold is reached.

EFFECT: increase the load measurement accuracy on the torque bit.
