FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises metal smelting in a steel making unit, release of metal into a ladle, secondary refining, including vacuum decarburization, and steel teeming. During or after vacuum decarburization, aluminium feeding to its content in steel of not less than 2.5% is carried out, while the basicity of the slag of more than 5 is ensured.

EFFECT: invention allows to obtain low-carbon steel with a low content of non-metallic inclusions and high damping properties with casting on steel continuous casting plants and ensuring stability of the casting process in order to avoid tightening of the submerged entry nozzles.
