FIELD: machine building; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal processing by milling and is intended for shaping of flat sections, slots and ledges on parts from hard-to-machine materials, including from heat-resistant steels on machines with CNC. One-piece end ceramic cutter with toroidal cutting section comprises a shank made in the form of a cylinder, peripheral and end cutting parts conjugated respectively by radius transitions, cutting teeth, each of which is formed by intersection of front and rear helical surfaces, teeth on end, each is formed by intersection of front flat surface and rear auxiliary flat surface, on each corresponding radial transition there is a reamer with constant normal front angle, the surface of which is limited by front screw surface, front flat surface of the corresponding end face and rear helical surface, thus forming the cutting edge by crossing with the producing toroidal surface.
EFFECT: resistance of the cutting tool is increased.
