FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vibration insulator of the suspension type comprises an elastic element, a cover and a base. The system for regulating the rigidity of the elastic element is made in the form of a flexible connection, one end of which is intended to be fixed to the object, and the other is mounted on the cover with the possibility of moving along it and locking it. On the cover guides are made in which a cursor is placed in which the other end of the flexible connection is fixed. Holes are made in the cover, through one of which the other end of the flexible connection is passed and fixed on the base. The elastic element is made in the form of a combined shock-absorbing spring. The spring is made as a cylindrical screw and contains two parts with opposite directed ends. The first spring part has rectangular section turns with rounded edges, and the second part is made hollow. The opposite directed end of the first part is located in the cavity of the second part. The segmental profile gaps of the contacting spring parts are filled with antifriction lubricant. The packing seal is mounted at the end of the second spring part to prevent the lubricant leakage. The first part of the screw spring is enclosed by the tube of a damping material. The gaps in the first part of the screw spring, which enclosed the tube of damping material, are filled with crumb of friction material.
EFFECT: increase the efficiency of vibration isolation in resonance mode.
