FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: urea aqueous solution feeding device for an engine is provided with a tank that stores urea aqueous solution, an injector configured for introducing urea aqueous solution into exhaust gases, and a pipeline configured to feed the urea aqueous solution in the tank to the injector. When the pressure of the urea aqueous solution supplied to the injector is equal to or less than the predetermined pressure, and the volume of urea aqueous solution in the tank is equal to or less than the present threshold value, electronic control unit determines that the urea aqueous solution in the volume required to cool the injector cannot be supplied from the tank to the injector, and performs return control for returning the urea aqueous solution from the injector back to the tank. Method for feeding urea solution into exhaust gases is proposed.
EFFECT: corrosion wear of the injector is reduced when using the invention.
