FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: measuring column of an optical voltage transformer contains a cylindrical insulator with a discriminating element in the form crystal located in its cavity. The crystal has the shape of a rod made of quartz glass, and is installed longitudinally in the cavity of the insulator by means of holding crystals, as well as electric modules electrically contacting with it. The first module comprises the first hollow part having a tube shape fixed from the side of the first end part on the first end cover of the insulator and from the side of the second end part containing the first multi-plate contact to the first end part of the crystal. The second electrical module comprises the second hollow part having a tube shape fixed from the side of the first end part on the second end cover of the insulator by means of the second multi-plate contact providing an electrical connection between them, and from the second end part to the second end part of the crystal by means of the third multi-plate contact. The cavity around the crystal is filled with a compression electrical insulating gel whose electrical strength exceeds the electrical strength of the air medium, and the polymer microspheres are filled with an inert gas.
EFFECT: increase the accuracy of measurements and linearity of its transformation.
