SUBSTANCE: flash control device comprises of: a position detection unit and a flash parameter definition unit, whereby the unit defining the flash parameters comprises of: a current determination subunit and a light intensity determination subunit. The current determination subunit comprises of: a first subunit extracting a predetermined current value, which is configured to extract the first saved specified current value, a second calculation subunit configured to calculate the value of the flash providing current, corresponding to the detected position data, depending on the detected position and stored correspondence between the position of the object to be photographed and the current supplied to the flash if the detected position is between the nearest surface reached by the light and the farthest surface reached by the light, and the second extracting subunit of the current setpoint configured for retrieving the second stored set current value for the flash providing current if the detected position is farther away than the farthest surface reached by the light.
EFFECT: saving energy and obtaining a clear image of the subject being photographed.
