SUBSTANCE: methylation of the promoter regions of MGMT, CDH1, p16/CDKN2A, DAPK, RAR-β and RUNX3 genes in the esophagus mucosa samples obtained during biopsy in endoscopic study is determined by methyl sensitive PCR. If abnormal methylation of at least one of these genes is detected, a conclusion is made that the risk of oncological progression is increased by a factor of 10.

EFFECT: increased accuracy in the diagnosis of the risk of malignant epithelium of the esophagus.
