FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: surgical device for tissue clipping includes an actuator such as a handle or a robot-equipped manipulator, and a replaceable end effector. The replaceable end effector contains many clips. After using the replaceable end effector, it can be detached from the actuator and the actuator can be connected to the new end effector. Each replaceable end effector includes a trigger actuator for moving the clips into the end effector receiver and a crimping drive.
EFFECT: crimping drive is configured to deform the clips inside the receiver.
