FIELD: items for personal use.
SUBSTANCE: absorbent product comprising a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-tight rear sheet, an absorbent core arranged between the top and rear sheets, and receiving and distributing layer (RDL) of a non-woven material, which is arranged between the top sheet and the absorbent core. The non-woven material has a surface density of 20 to 40 g/m2, 3 to 20 through openings per 1 cm2. These openings have a diameter in the transverse direction and the machine direction from 1 to 3 mm, and at least 70 wt % of the non-woven RDL contain fibres having a fibre diameter of 12 to 22 mcm.
EFFECT: improved absorbing reliability.
