SUBSTANCE: salt substitute with a low sodium salt content is represented by a composition containing a homogeneous set of chloride salts, a food acidifier, and a carrier. The components are contained at the following ratio (wt %) of potassium chloride 15 to 90; sodium chloride 10 to 90; food acidulant 0.1 to 5, and carrier 10 to 40. Dextrose is used as a carrier.
EFFECT: composition is obtained by the method ensuring obtaining a salt substitute with high organoleptic indices corresponding to the common sodium chloride salt.
