FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a stable seasoning composition containing no sodium salt or having low sodium salt content. The said seasoning composition includes ascorbic acid, at least one acidifier chosen from the group including citric acid, tartaric acid, fumaric acid, lactic acid and their mixture, potassium salts, calcium salts, magnesium salts, rice flour and contains iodine in an amount of 1 part per 30000 weight parts or more.
EFFECT: invention allows to produce a seasoning composition of a pleasant salty savour; the composition is similar to usual table salt intended for consumption by teenagers, adults, senior citizens and pregnant women, acts as a dietary additive and enriches the nutrition with calcium, potassium, magnesium and vitamin C.
