FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: corrosion rate measurement system (130) is provided. It includes the first membrane (160) of the first material made tending to be exposed to a corrosive material susceptible to corrosion and deflecting in response to corrosion. The second membrane (162) is made tending to be exposed to corrosive material and deflecting in response to corrosion. The pressure sensor (134) is operatively connected to at least one of the first and second membranes (160, 162) and is configured to measure the deflection of at least one of the first and second membranes (160, 162) as a function of pressure and corrosion degree of at least one of the first and second membranes (160, 162).
EFFECT: improving the accuracy and reliability of the obtained data.
