SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a dispensing device for drugs, vitamins and/or samples for analysis, the device comprises a pedestal (1, 9) and dispensing units (3, 92) for drugs, vitamins and/or analysis samples to be placed on the pedestal 19). The pedestal contains sockets (2, 91) into which the dispensing units can be placed (3, 92). The device of the invention also comprises an identification device (5) connected to a data processing device and containing data related to dispensing of drugs, vitamins and/or analysis samples that contains detecting elements driven into the detection mode by detection signals generated from dispensing data, in the data processing device. The identification device (5) is connected to the pedestal (1, 9) so that at least some of the detecting elements (6) are aligned with at least some of the sockets (2, 91) of the pedestal (1). At that, at least those dispensing units (3, 92) that are aligned with at least one detecting element (6) can be identified by detecting signals generated based on the dispensing data in the data processing device.
