FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: composite metal foil is proposed, in which the surface of a titanium foil or titanium alloy foil is coated with an electrically conductive layer, wherein an electrically conductive film is made in the composite metal foil in which TiO is dispersed in the oxide film and the TiO [ITiO/(ITi+ITiO)], calculated from the maximum intensity of the diffraction peaks of TiO (ITiO) and the maximum intensity of the diffraction peaks of metallic titanium (ITi) in the number of X-ray diffraction peaks of the surface of a titanium foil or titanium alloy foil is 0.5% or more, is formed on the surface of a titanium foil or titanium alloy foil. The electrically conductive layer of the film contains, wt %, silver particles in which the average particle size is not less than 10 nm and not more than 500 nm from 20% to 90%, the dispersant is from 0.2% to 1.0% and is the remaining mass of the acrylic polymer or epoxy polymer, and said layer has a thickness of 5 to 50 mcm.
EFFECT: increasing the corrosion resistance of the separator, and resistance to fatigue from periodic loading, this separator has a low contact resistance.
