FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: refrigerating device includes a gas supply device producing nitrogen-enriched air with a higher nitrogen concentration than in the outside air and supplying nitrogen-enriched air to the container through the feed channel; an oxygen concentration sensor that measures the concentration of oxygen in the air in the container; and a controller that monitors the operation of the gas supply device so that the oxygen concentration measured by the oxygen concentration sensor reaches the target concentration. The container refrigerating device is equipped with a measuring channel that directs part of the nitrogen-enriched air passing through the supply channel to the oxygen concentration sensor and the measuring channel is equipped with a two-position valve.

EFFECT: use of this invention makes it possible to detect failures of the gas supply device without increasing production costs.
