FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: lubrication method involves applying the magnetic field to friction side surfaces of teeth of gear wheel rims made of ferromagnetic material, and subsequent after rotation of crowns from their engagement zones with paired gear rims to their lubricant material application zones, blowing the gear rims by jets of compressed air directed from the side of the apexes of the gear rims and oriented radially perpendicular to the bases of recesses of the gear rims. The air used for blowing is taken from the gear train body.
EFFECT: prevention of paired gear wheels jamming and increased reliability of gear train operation.
