FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: lubrication method involves applying the magnet active powder lubricating material by magnetic field to the friction side surfaces of teeth of gear wheel rims made of ferromagnetic material. On the areas of gear rims rotation from the area of their engagement to the areas of lubricant material application thereon, each gear rim is exposed to blowing at each end thereof, at least one jet of compressed air in the area of bases of this gear rim recesses. The jets are spaced relative to each other along the wheel circumference. Each jet is directed from one end of the gear rim to the opposite one and oriented perpendicular to these ends. The directions of both jets are offset by equal distance from the circumference of the gear rim recesses to the circumference of its vertices. The air used for blowing is taken from the gear train housing.
EFFECT: improved reliability of the gear train.
