FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing chlorosilanes from amorphous silica to produce high purity silicon by chlorination of amorphous silicon dioxide is described according to which silicon-containing raw material and a reducing agent are introduced into the reactor, wherein the raw material is fed into the reactor that implements the process of conversion in a pseudofluidized layer of the reactants through the course of the redox process on the surface of solid particles containing source silanole and siloxane groups, the promote process, with further purification of the product obtained.
EFFECT: chlorosilanes of high purity are obtained using environmentally safe raw materials.
