FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: orthodontic device for upper jaw dentition center alignment contains a support portion with supporting-retaining clamps and a movable portion made as a sector. The support and movable portions are interconnected by a fixing element. The movable portion is formed by sectoral cuts made on each side of the jaw before the first premolar to the palate dome center. The junction point of the sectoral cuts is connected to the support portion in the palate dome center by a Z-shaped fixing element located inside the movable and support portions. On one sectoral cut, an orthodontic screw and a supporting-directing clamp are installed, the clamp is open in the direction of displacement.
EFFECT: invention allows to move only the frontal group of the upper jaw teeth without changing the position of its lateral teeth, to align the dentition rows centers of the upper and lower jaws while maintaining occlusion.
