FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: for treatment of anterior eye chamber angle blockade by the iris root, gonioplasty is performed that includes sequential application of laser coagulates on the root area of the iris, causing iris tension and opening of the anterior eye chamber angle. Prior to gonioplasty, a medicamentous miosis is created, for which a 2% solution of pilocarpine is installed. Then, upon reaching the medical miosis, gonioplasty is performed locally in the area of postoperative fistula from the root to pupillary iris area in an amount of 20-100 coagulates, with a power of 150-500 mJ, coagulate diameter of 100 mcm, duration impact of 100 msec. Next, the synechiae are cut with a YAG laser over the postoperative fistula.

EFFECT: method increases the efficiency and safety of treatment of the anterior eye chamber angle blockade by the iris root, using a combination of laser techniques.
