FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: automotive tire comprises a wear surface intended for contact when rolling on a support, wherein studs are embedded in this wear surface. In addition to the other elements of the tread pattern, the wear surface comprises an amortization zone around the stud containing projections of the wear surface whose height from the wear surface does not exceed the height of the farthest protruding point of the stud tip when viewed in the radial direction of the tire, wherein this amortization zone is formed in such a way that it absorbs impacts or contact of the stud with the roadway by perceiving a part of the load distributed over the surface area of the stud tip, and by upsetting or adjusting the stud projection in the radial direction of the tire beyond the outermost portion of the wear surface.
EFFECT: reduced wearing of the studs, wear surface and roadway, reduced noise.
