SUBSTANCE: studded tyre comprises a tread band (2) whereon the tread pattern is formed, provided wherein is at least one module (M) containing a first and a second elementary parts (R, S) of the tread band, each of said parts with a long pitch or a short pitch, wherein the tread band is divided into the first and second zones (4, 5) by the equatorial plane of the tyre. Multiple first modules (M’) is provided among said modules, wherein the number of studs provided in the first zone (4) is equal to the number of studs provided in the second zone (5), and the spikes are mutually displaced in the axial direction (Y). A first and a second rank orders corresponding to the distances from the equatorial plane to the studs are set for the studs of the first and second zones (4, 5) so that the studs (101a, 102a, 103a) of the first zone (4) and the studs (101b, 102b, 103b) of the second zone (5) with the same place in the first and second rank orders, respectively, form pairs of homologous studs. At least 20% first modules (M’) comprise at least one pair of homologous studs wherein one stud is provided in the first elementary part (R) and another stud is provided in the second elementary part (S).

EFFECT: improvement in the operating characteristics during acceleration and braking and when adhering to the road when driving in a turn.
