EXPLOSION-PROOF DESTRUCRIBLE STRUCTURE FOR EXPLOSIVE BUILDINGS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC E04B1/92

Abstract RU 2638374 C1

FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: explosion-proof destructible structure for explosive buildings comprises reinforced concrete panels, each of which consists of destructible and non-destructible parts. There is a protective screen opposite the destructible part, from the outside of the building fence, the screen is made of high-strength material, for example, armoured material, which is fixed to at least three rods located horizontally and perpendicular to the building fences, at the ends of which disks are fixed, and which pass through the holes in the protective screen, wherein the discs located on the right side from the rods are walled in the building fence, and elastic elements supporting the protective screen against the building fence rest against the discs on the left side from the rods, and depressions in the building wall, one of which, outer one, is formed by planes of regular quadrilateral truncated pyramid with a rectangular base, and another, inner one, represents two angled surfaces connected by an edge, are filled with heat-and-sound-absorbing material and are closed by a decorative panel, easily destructible during explosion. Each of the elastic elements, supporting protective screen against the building fence, is made in the form of a one-action shock absorber, containing a damping base attached to the disc with screws, to which an elastic sleeve made in the form of a truncated cone of polyurethane is rigidly attached coaxially to the rod, wherein the lower bed of the truncated cone is connected to the damping bed, and the upper bed rests against the element in the form of elastic sleeve, which is pressed by the elastic element made in the form of a conical spring, facing the disc with its larger bed, and facing the protective screen with its lower bed, where it is fixed in the grooves made in the protective screen by cast polyurethane, wherein the shock absorber is additionally provided with a one-action element located coaxially to the rod and covering the elastic element made in the form of a conical spring, wherein one end of the element rests against the protective screen, and the other - against the disc, wherein the one-action element is made in the form of a brittle destructible material, such as porcelain or glass of "triplex" type, or in the form of a sleeve made of a brittle destructible material, such as porcelain or glass of "triplex" type, with three grooves evenly distributed across its surface, parallel to its axis, wherein resistance strain gauges are fixed in the grooves of the sleeve and are connected with a strain-gauge-amplifier, which, in turn, is connected with an emergency situation occurrence warning system.

EFFECT: increased reliability of destructible explosion-proof devices operation during an emergency explosion at the facility.
